Here at CNN Tech, we put together a list of some of the sweetest laptops you can buy for Black Friday.
Starting in November with the launch of Apple’s updated MacBook Air . The laptop has been redesigned to offer a thinner design, a new touchpad and the promise of a faster processor.
On Black Friday, some online retailers are offering up to 70% off laptop deals .
To help you filter down the deals and get the most out of Black Friday, we’ve rounded up the most stellar deals we found for 11 Black Friday laptop deals in 2021.
MacBook 11-inch (13-inch and 17-inch models)
If you have a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air but need a light, cool laptop for a day at the beach, then the 11-inch MacBook could be for you. It comes with the processor of a MacBook Pro, but, of course, without the bulk of the larger device.
Until Black Friday, the last generation MacBook is discounted to $249.98 with free shipping from Amazon. (That’s an amount that could upgrade to $1,149 if you were to buy with a third-party shipping company.) The 16GB version of the laptop is $99.99.
Amazon makes another great deal: The 12-inch MacBook is listed for just $949, a savings of $1,198 with free shipping. The 256GB version of the laptop costs $1,099, which comes to $3,013 if you buy with third-party shipping.

More affordable laptops
If you want something for the student in your life, like a Chromebook that has a 13-inch screen, then the Lenovo Ideapad 320 will be good for you. The 11-inch Chromebook is discounted to $99 with free shipping from Amazon. The price for an 11-inch version of the Chromebook normally runs between $170 and $200.
The Google Pixelbook has been discounted to $999 with free shipping from Amazon. The 16GB model normally costs between $1,100 and $1,200.
Asus’ 11-inch ZenBook will give you a lot for the money. The $499 laptop comes with a quad-core Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB of storage and a touchscreen. That’s a savings of $250. The price that makes the laptop more pricey than many Chromebooks is the touchscreen, but you get a dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB of storage and a touchscreen.
You’ll get a 128GB SSD and an 8GB memory for $419 from Acer with free shipping from Amazon. Normally, the $569 11-inch laptop is marked at $499.
Apple Chromebook 13-inch
Apple’s revamped Chromebook is a great option for anyone looking for a budget laptop. You can get an Acer Chromebook 13-inch for $289 with free shipping from Amazon.
If you want to save $100, check out Acer’s other laptop deals. Starting from $239, you can get a newer Microsoft Surface Laptop — a slightly bigger laptop with a 12-inch screen. The laptops come with Intel Core i5 processor, 128GB of storage and 512GB of memory.
Fold-out 13-inch HP Envy Yoga Slate
If you want something different, don’t miss out on Microsoft’s new 11-inch fold-out laptop, the Surface.
The laptop offers a bigger screen than most laptops, and is made with shatterproof technology. The price is reasonable: The Surface Laptop will go for $899 with free shipping.
Go for the Chromebook 13-inch instead. The Chromebook 13 typically sells for around $350, but the 11-inch version is priced at $149. You will save $150.
